About this Position
We are seeking a dynamic leader to manage and grow our Sage X3 sales team. This role involves overseeing a high-performing sales team across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on achieving sales targets and driving new business revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, exceptional communication skills, and specific expertise in process manufacturing—particularly within the food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing industries.
As the Sales Leader, you will collaborate closely with marketing and sales management to develop strategies, guide your team in identifying and qualifying leads, coordinate and deliver compelling product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and close deals. This role also includes ownership of the new business sales pipeline and revenue forecasting.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team across the U.S. and Canada to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop strategies to grow new sales revenue, focusing on process manufacturing industries.
- Drive the sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations that resonate with client needs in the process manufacturing space.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales management to target key markets and industries.
- Own forecasting and reporting of new business revenue, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong sales experience within process manufacturing industries.
- Proven ability to build relationships and sell effectively to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Expertise in delivering tailored software demonstrations and crafting innovative value propositions to meet client needs.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals under tight deadlines and high-pressure objectives.
- Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $150,000 to $170,000.
This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
