RVP Solutions Engineering
RVP, Solution Engineer will set the strategy and vision for a team with responsibility for qualifying accounts, answering RFP's, delivering product presentations, and flawlessly executing proof-of values which exceed the customer's business requirement.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5 managers and 29 SE’s in the Americas leading Retail Solutions
- Cloud Conversion Center of Excellence
- Financial Center of Excellence (includes FP&A)
- CPQ Solution Engineering (KBMax)
- Grow Solution Engineering
- LATAM Solution Engineering (Channel Sales/Support)
- Oversee Solution Engineer teams with responsibility for effectively describing and demonstrating our solution.
- Build strategic partnership with senior management team.
- Serve as the main technical lead on sales calls and educate the Solution Engineers, Sales Managers, partners, and customers on issues ranging from product features, technology, functionalities and new offerings.
- Proactively improve solution engineering processes and procedures, identifying gaps in technical consulting practices.
- Own and deliver Solution Engineer training curriculum.
- Conduct frequent technical knowledge sharing sessions for internal teams, partners and distributors to highlight products and solutions.
- Collaborate and influence Product Development/Management and Sales to ensure solutions are competitive, compelling, and differentiated in the market
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience in solution engineering or pre-sales
- Strong technical background and knowledge of industry
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Outstanding communicate and presentation abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Foster relationships internally and with customers/partner
Qualifications:
- 12+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 6+ years managing and developing teams
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Master’s degree preferred

Range:
Minimum: $140,000.00 USD Maximum: $340,000.00 USDThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
