Retail Client Solutions Manager

Exciting opportunity within our Retail Solutions division at Assurant! You will be supporting clients in device and product protection, which would include extended service protection on devices and products in the retail and aftermarket space. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of client and product initiatives.
Our Retail Client Solutions Manager leads client initiatives to provide solution guidance during the sales intake process and is responsible for onboarding and leading the initiative once the initiative kicks off. This position is a client-facing role representing Assurant products and solutions, guiding clients toward the right solution decision, based on their unique needs and systems. They will also be the client’s advocate to all Assurant stakeholders as the initiative is being accepted through the intake process all the way to the build and delivery.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Solution Implementation & Follow-up
- Execute client & product delivery of complex solutions supporting client, product and Assurant’s vision and culture.
- Responsible for documentation and process/system flows in easy-to-understand format for internal and external parties
- Thorough documentation and detailed research of the client, problem and solutions to help with adoption.
- Work alongside senior team members to help implement product and client solutions that achieve intended outcomes.
- Solutions can include but are not limited to new client onboarding, client requested features, Assurant platform improvements, new product features and operational improvements.
Operational Support
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams from IT, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product to support the execution of client and product solutions.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects from development to implementation, working closely with operational teams.
- Identify process improvement opportunities using data-driven insights to enhance the efficiency of project delivery.
Process Re-engineering & Tool Utilization
- Support process re-engineering efforts by identifying inefficiencies and working on solutions to streamline workflows.
Project Oversight
- Assisting the client, product & Implementation teams to manage all of the critical elements from concept to solution design, to financial modeling, journey mapping, testing, evaluation, and roll out.
- Oversees the project management, sometimes leading the project internally and externally when the project demands it. What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 3 years of progressively more responsible experience in business leadership roles as well as expertise with clients and/or prospects
- Experience as a Technical Solution Engineer, Service Execution, Service Solutions, and/or IT Business Relationship Manager a plus
- Experience in the service contract industry preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills

- Able to understand and manage through complex issues and proven ability to develop solutions that generate favorable results
- Proven understanding of how processes and systems interact
- Demonstrated track record of successfully designing and implementing solutions
- Organized and structured in thought, approach, and communication
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge and experience in extended service contracts, and/or the service industry
- Extensive understanding industry and emerging trends desired.
- Able to successfully navigate through organizational complexity
- Able to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions.
- Able to manage multiple projects, concurrently. Has professional presence, polish, and demeanor to engage with clients
- Able to build trust, respect and rapport while successfully influencing internal and external stakeholders’ clients to successfully achieve a common goal
- Able to connect personally, demonstrate knowledge of client’s business and communicate our value
- Able to drive change effectively and deliver on results
- Demonstrates comfortable confidence

Pay Range:
$86,000.00 - $143,700.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
