Position Overview:


As a Retail Account Executive, you play a crucial role in our success. You must be driven to deliver best-in-class retail Loss Prevention Services and have extensive knowledge of retail operations and Loss Prevention deliverables, demonstrating the ROI of DTiQ’s full suite of products. You must show the ability to acquire new accounts and expand market share while also possessing strong relationship-building skills. You should be highly organized and results oriented, demonstrating exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities. A solid background in retail operations and examples of a strong network is required.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Proactively identify, prospect, and secure net new opportunities to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
  • Engage & Present: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, highlighting DTiQ’s innovative solutions and their measurable impact on operational efficiency.
  • Proposal Crafting: Develop tailored proposals that resonate with client challenges and objectives, aligning with DTiQ’s value proposition.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with prospects and clients, positioning DTiQ as a trusted partner.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Maintain meticulous records in CRM software to track pipeline activities, forecast accurately, and measure success.
  • Event Representation: Represent DTiQ at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: A strong background in retail operations is necessary, along with evidence of a robust professional retail network.
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota in the Retail vertical.
  • Expertise: Strong familiarity with video intelligence, business analytics, and/or operational technology.
  • Client Base: Existing relationships or book of business in the QSR or Retail space is highly preferred.
  • Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to independently drive the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Sales Acumen: Skilled in conducting client-facing product demos, crafting persuasive proposals, and negotiating deals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM tools and sales enablement platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet client and business needs.
