Salary: Base $75,000 - $80,000 + Uncapped Commission (Comm: Yr1 ~$25K, Yr2 ~$50K-$75K)

Regional Sales Manager (Plastics Exp Req) - Remote Description

Our client in the plastics manufacturing industry is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to further develop their business in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana. You can live anywhere within your sales territory. The ideal candidate will be a proven hunter in the plastics industry with a track record of building strong customer relationships, leading to increased sales. You must be results-oriented, innovative, and well-organized, able to prioritize based on company strategies. Regional Sales Manager (Plastics Exp Req) – Remote Responsibilities

•    Develop customer relationships to understand needs and unique challenges 
•    Identify and propose solutions to capture sales opportunities
•    Nurture existing accounts (40%) and prospect new customers (60%)
•    Cover the geographical area of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana
•    Plan weekly travel for customer visits and meetings (typically W-Th, overnight 1-2 days)
•    Capitalize on changing market conditions and product trends
•    Report on business opportunities, pricing, and competition
•    Increase and optimize “face time” with current and prospective accounts
•    Document sales activity and prospects in the company CRM
•    Proactively notify customers of upcoming material cost increases
•    Support with accounts receivable outreach as needed
•    Collaborate with manufacturing to improve efficiency, lower costs, & meet customer needs

Regional Sales Manager (Plastics Exp Req) - Remote Qualifications

•    3+ years of B2B sales experience in the plastics industry is required
•    Proven experience prospecting and growing a sales territory is required
•    Ability to travel up to 30% is required (Customer Appts, Wisconsin HQ Meetings, Trade Shows)
•    Candidates located near Green Bay, WI, are required to work in the office on Mondays
