Who you are 

 

You have an extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques. You are driven by accuracy and a sense of urgency with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. You display exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a strong ability to tailor your communication style to specific audiences. 

 

You know how to:  

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the project to ensure project goals and objectives are met within expected time frames, quality standards, and budget parameters.  
  • Prioritize work and project portfolio with an appreciation and understanding of organizational drivers and critical objectives. 
  • Employ a project management framework with consistent standards and processes to deliver predictable project outcomes and positive customer experience.
  • Assign responsibilities, manage resources, and perform budget planning for the projects.  
  • Defend the project against scope creep and frequently clarify the original scope of the project. 
  • Coordinate delivery logistics of hardware, software, and licensing. 
  • Monitor task completion and report weekly progress. 
  • Create and manage step-by-step project activities, including preliminary engineering, detailed designs, material procurement, installation, test and turn-up, and site and system acceptance.  
  • Monitor and manage project variances, evaluate, and communicate impacts and update project plans and project documentation as appropriate. 
  • Monitor and summarize progress of projects and prepare status updates and reports for client, project team and NexusTek management.
  • Maintain a customer focus including effective relationships with internal and external customers and potential customers. 
  • Ensure all deliverables (internal and external) meet the Company’s expected level of quality.
  • Initiate and maintain accurate and timely documentation of client environment, issue resolution, client communication, time and expense tracking, or other documents as required by departmental procedures and Company policy.
  • Maintain constant vigilance with documenting billable activities, with an expectation is 6 hours of billable work daily. 


Knowledge and Experience: 


  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience as Project Manager leading IT projects
  • Understanding of Project Management Institute Framework and experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Office 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, ConnectWise. 
  • Process/playbook documentation experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, a plus. 
  • Experience being a billable resource
  • Master multi-tasker
  • Documentation and Communication Expert
  • MS Office Suite 
  • ITIL Foundation, a plus
  • ITIL Practitioner, a plus

 

Pay and Benefits 

 

This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely.  

 

Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.  Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)

  • One-hour interview with Project Management team members
  • 30 minute call with VP, Professional Services 
  • References – 3 professional references at least one direct supervisor
