Position Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and directing several interconnected PAR enterprise restaurant technology deployment projects. This individual leads both internal and external project teams who specialize in restaurant technology implementations. Projects include customer-specific enterprise software and hardware solutions sold and architected by PAR.

The Project Manager will provide regular updates to customers and PAR executives, maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders, and ensure milestones stay on track. This role works cross-functionally across PAR to achieve strategic goals and business outcomes, owning all project management responsibilities.

Note: Deployment projects may include installation activities overnight or on weekends, and this role may be called upon to manage related escalations.

Reports To:
Sr. Manager, Project Management

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodology and processes

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or restaurant technology

  • 5+ years working with enterprise-level customers

  • 5+ years managing complex projects

  • Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure environments

  • Experience managing project resources and resolving constraints

  • Strong alignment with business strategy and customer outcomes

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Jotform, Slack, and Monday.com (preferred)

 

Additional skills:

  • Skilled negotiator with proven leadership across cross-functional teams

  • Ability to communicate project updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders, including executives

  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Must be comfortable working across various time zones

 

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

  • Direct and manage enterprise deployment projects from kickoff through completion

  • Establish cross-functional leadership across PAR teams, customers, vendors, and consultants

  • Identify and manage risks, milestones, dependencies, and scope

  • Lead project teams and motivate contributors to stay on track

  • Manage escalations that could impact project success

  • Host and participate in meetings with internal teams, customers, and vendors

  • Provide consistent project updates via meetings, dashboards, and reporting tools

  • Maintain real-time awareness of project status and next steps
