SUMMARY

As the Product Marketing Manager for Data & Competitive Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help Avetta make strategic decisions and drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for market and competitive intelligence, using insights to inform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market success for Avetta’s current and future offerings.

Your expertise in market dynamics, competitor capabilities, and business drivers for key personas will shape product strategy, support marketing campaigns, elevate market awareness, and enable sales growth.  Additionally, you will benchmark and measure value, track industry and maturity trends, and leverage insights to create demand and demonstrate strategic business value.

This role is ideal for an analytical, strategic marketing professional who excels at translating data into compelling narratives, thrives in fast-paced, complex environments, and has a track record of developing and executing data-driven product marketing strategies that drive engagement and business growth.

If residing within commutable distance to one of our offices, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).  Remote work may be considered for those outside of commutable distance to an office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence – Become the expert on customer value drivers, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Leverage benchmarks and measures of value to assess positioning.
  • Industry & Maturity Trends – Analyze trends impacting Avetta’s solutions to anticipate customer needs and shape product and marketing strategies.
  • Messaging & Positioning – Lead collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Advisory Services, and Product Management to develop winning value propositions and competitive sales plays that drive differentiation and demand.
  • Product & Insight Advancement – Partner with Product Management to translate insights into roadmap recommendations that enhance Avetta’s offerings.
  • Enable Growth – Develop battle cards, sales playbooks, assets, and tools to support sales channels and enablement teams, ensuring they can effectively communicate Avetta’s value.
  • Strategic Business Value – Showcase the business impact of Avetta’s solutions by crafting compelling narratives that resonate with key personas and decision-makers.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting – Set goals and objectives, track performance against key metrics, and optimize strategy and tactics based on data to drive continued success.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, software engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, sales engineering, or competitive analysis
  • Experience conducting functional and technical analysis of SaaS solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to benchmark, measure value, and track industry trends
  • Excellent PowerPoint, writing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong verbal, active listening, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Teams, Figma, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, customers, and third parties
  • Energy, drive, and a growth mindset, with a passion for learning and collaboration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Contractor Management, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), or Supplier Performance Management solutions

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $74,000 - $163,000 USD per year, with a potential bonus.
