Product Manager
US Remote
The Product Manager (PM) is a mid-level role responsible for driving innovation and managing Elixir’s existing product lines. This includes building strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to identify needs, shape product strategy, and deliver impactful solutions. Reporting to the Managing Director, Product Management, the PM operates with a high level of autonomy, using sound judgment and discretion in managing product requirements and priorities.
This role oversees products through their full lifecycle – from concept to launch and beyond – ensuring they align with company goals around growth, profitability, and customer value. Success in this role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Design, QA, Support, Implementation, Customer Success, Sales, Presales, and Marketing. The PM conducts user research, champions the voice of the customer, applies design-thinking principles, and works closely with stakeholders across the business to define and communicate a clear, compelling product vision.
Essential Functions
Under the general supervision of the Managing Director, Product Management, the essential functions include:
- Build a strategic roadmap and take product concepts from idea through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration.
- Influence and own pieces of product strategies and roadmaps to optimize product performance, customer engagement, user experience and market penetration.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities.
- Build business cases and measure the impact of your product innovation.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams, including customers, UX design, engineering, sales, marketing, technical support, training, documentation, implementation and operations to implement product initiatives and to provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Coordinates product planning and works closely with technical product development team members, estimates of potential profits, and release to production.
- Evaluate the financial aspects of product development such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Provides product expertise and training to other departments in support of product releases and go to market efforts.
- Conduct customer research both internally and externally to gain insight into the "voice of the customer" for the assigned product.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and make recommendations to prioritize frequent and dynamic decisions based on the latest product analytics, product team metrics and customer feedback.
- Apply data-driven insights from market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to make informed decisions about priorities.
- Analyze the impact of the activities and refine them as needed to create an environment of continuous learning and iteration across the product and the organization.
- Establish, communicate, and maintain the assigned product vision and strategy.
- Define the assigned products roadmap based on desired business outcomes.
- Conceive and documents product requirements, epics, themes and user stories detailing product requirements and elaborate same for design and development teams.
- Scope and prioritize input to an iteration and release.
- Manages and is accountable for quality and user experience of the products.
- Collaborate closely with product design and delivery teams.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders such as business, Engineering, DevOps, Security & Compliance, and Quality Assurance to align product and platform architectures and capabilities according to agreed goals.
- Manage a timely product delivery with the highest quality, stability, and confidence in the office, in a virtual or remote working environment, a hybrid or in-office and virtual environment, and collaboration between the regional, global teams, and partners (System Integrators).
- Maintain a deep understanding of and coach other team members on Elixir’s customers, digital opportunities, and product value proposition.

Required education and experience
- Product Management experience in a product-based Software/Tech company, ideally SaaS Cloud
- Demonstrable experience and expertise in Agile product planning and execution/delivery toolsets like Aha and JIRA
- Demonstrable experience of engaging executives and other stakeholders to support important business decisions
- Experience working with design-thinking processes and methodologies
Preferred education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Experience implementing new design-thinking methodologies into product management functions
- Experience in SaaS services product development
