We’re looking for a Principal Human Resources Business Partner who is ready to play a pivotal role in driving the people strategies for our CuraCorp Group business unit. This strategic and dynamic HR partner will collaborate with stakeholders to shape and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives. What You Will Do 

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted partner to leaders within CuraCorp Group (our diversified business unit), consulting and coaching around human capital strategies tailored to the unique needs of the business.  

  • Workforce planning and Organizational Development:  Lead workforce planning and organizational development initiatives using scenario planning, analytics, and market-leading practices to optimize workforce deployment 

  • Talent Consultant: Develop and execute organizational development plans that align with and support the business unit’s evolution and growth. 

  • Leadership, Culture & Change Management: Provide strategic consultation on leadership development, change management, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services teams.    

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 

  • 8+ years of experience in related field 

  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field 

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications) 

  • Minimum of 8+ years in Human Resources, with a strong focus on talent strategies, organizational design, and leadership coaching. 

  • Proven expertise in organizational and talent development within a matrixed environment. 

  • Skilled in using data-driven insights to present, influence, and drive people strategies. 

  • HR Professional with a successful track record in a role of similar scale and complexity in a fast-paced, matrix environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusting, credible relationships with all levels in the organization 

  • Experience with Workday HRIS is preferred. 

  •  Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem-solving.

Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets,  licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
