Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal, Business Development to drive growth and expand our selection for the customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business development efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.
- Manage and implement initiatives with key strategic partners, including the government at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Develop and execute high-profile events and programs with strategic partners.
- Develop and amplify key Coupang messages and content with strategic partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, government, or a related field.
- Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business development and strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and win-win partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and executing high-profile events and programs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for business development and partnerships and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $138,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $170,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
