About the role

The Platform Solutions Consultant is a pre-sales SC responsible for helping both internal and external stakeholders understand and derive value from the more technical and complex aspects of the Rippling Platform. These include building custom applications via Rippling’s no-code Custom Apps & Objects, writing advanced use cases using Rippling Workflows, advanced formulas using Rippling Query Language, and representing integrations via both the Rippling API and future Rippling Data technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pre-sales capacity with other modular low-code platforms and will be able to quickly learn and understand Rippling's products.

You will join a diverse and exceptional team of Solutions Consulting professionals. Rippling SCs work with customers and internal partners to enable a best-in-industry buying experience. What you will do

  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure the success of prospects during their evaluation of Rippling 
  • Partner with other Solutions Consultant as an overlay expert on Rippling’s most advanced platform capabilities
  • Understand a prospect’s technical requirements and convey the business value of Rippling’s Platform
  • Manage and assist in technical demonstrations and POCs for prospects that address their unique business objectives
  • Create, present, and maintain technical content such that customers are successful using the Rippling Platform
  • Provide customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams 
  • Become a product expert across the entire Rippling platform and understand the competitor landscape
  • Work with your SC peers and SC leadership to build a best-in-class SC organization

What you will need

  • 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales role with experience in a modular platform, doing hands on building for POCs and demonstrations and working with APIs using Postman or similar.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with a bias towards action, energized by a fast-paced environment and excited to build

This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* for US-based employees will be 75/25 commission split for base/variable pay, and aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here.

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
