The National Account Manager Club Channel is responsible for implementing plans to drive profitable sales at Costco and BJs. They are responsible for building quality relationships with customers, annual planning, developing sales presentations, selling in product rotations, monthly demand forecast, accrual management, pulling reports and analyzing to develop business insights. They are responsible for ensuring that customer plans align with the strategic direction and financial objectives of the company to attain market leadership and drive long term growth.
Successful candidates will ideally be located in California, Seattle, or near Costco regional offices. Candidates will have a background in customer negotiations, participating in joint business planning in collaboration with retailers, working with cross functional teams, and will have a background in national account sales. Candidates must have outstanding presentation skills and demonstrate an ability to balance multiple priorities.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Drive Sales Growth at Costco and BJs
- Develop annual plans for the club channel to deliver sales growth and new product distribution
- Work with cross functional partners on customer initiatives to develop new items, packaging updates, shopper marketing and promotional opportunities.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs. Communicate customer needs internally to ensure organizational understanding and alignment.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
- Manage accounts, leveraging new and existing contacts and relationships
- Utilize the full extent of company resources to obtain distribution and build strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Collaborate with demand planning, supply planning, brand managers, creative services, regulatory, research and development company resources to deliver business objectives
