Job Overview
Jensen Hughes is seeking a Market Leader, Design Services based remotely within the continental United States. This is a technical Client focused leadership position that spends the majority of his/her time on business development with a primary focus on fire and life safety design services. The Market Leader will partner with Operations and Business Development leaders throughout the company to drive new proposals and wins for professional design services including fire sprinkler, special hazards, smoke control, fire detection, and life safety throughout the US.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for continuing revenue growth via a range of professional design services by marketing to property owners, architects / engineers, and construction contractors.
- Performs project management and / or technical design services work independently on own projects.
- Manage client expectations and relationships through clear and thoughtful communication and assist team members in doing the same.
- Establish credibility with clients by managing close association with professional/trade organizations, code-making bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Meet established utilization goals (approximately 50% developing business / 50% billable design work).
- Accountable for meeting profitability goals assigned (clients / accounts).
