Job Description
INTRODUCTION:
The Sales Development Representative drives the creation of qualified new business opportunities form Marketing Qualified Leads, through proactive pursuit and account nurturing for the company’s GloFox North America and International. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Salesforce.com, possess the ability to effectively communicate around current business challenges to identify our core customers business needs. This position requires heavy outbound prospecting, phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to generate new clients.
The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all ABC Fitness Solutions and have experience call into a diverse client base.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Weekly 250 email touchpoints, 200 calls, 10 account creations,30 personalization emails
- 25 accounts updated weekly - 3-5 contacts per account
- Create and manage cadence with 90% on time rate
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of ABC Fitness Solutions expansive list of branding solutions
- Build long-term trusting relationships with potential clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Senior Account Executive
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Develop creative tactics and strategies to reach target prospects; schedule qualified discovery calls with said target prospects; generate qualified meeting
- Record and track all activity in Salesforce and Salesloft to provide background and next steps for the Marketing and Sales Manager to ensure alignment of teams as well as effective follow up with prospects
- Create strategic emails to target prospect accounts
- Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, obtain contact information
- Draft outreach plans and messaging sequences
- Identify needs and challenges of prospective customers
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or a related field
- 2+ Years’ at a Business-to-Business organization in an Inside Business Development or Inside Sales role
- Previous sales or telephone prospecting experience
- You are experienced in data analysis and sales tools use
- You will share best practices, improve processes and messaging, and provide detailed reporting to Executive Management
