ROLE IMPACT
As a Jr. Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for customers with less than $1,500 in monthly recurring revenue (MRR). You will be responsible for closing new business, managing the sales process, and driving revenue growth within this segment.
This role is ideal for ambitious, coachable individuals looking to launch their SaaS sales careers while gaining hands-on experience in managing accounts and refining deal strategies. Your contributions will help expand TextUsâ market presence, enhance customer adoption, and position you for career growth within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Territory Planning
- Develop a targeted approach for acquiring and closing new customers under $1,500 MRR.
- Regularly review and optimize pipeline activity in Salesforce to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
- Learn how to track and forecast revenue growth within your assigned segment.
- Sales Process
- Own the entire sales cycle for small and mid-market customers, from prospecting to closing.
- Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and contract negotiations with potential customers.
- Utilize phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outbound strategies to generate new opportunities.
- Understand and begin applying MEDDICC sales methodology to qualify and close deals.
- Product Fluency
- Develop a strong understanding of the TextUs platform and how it solves customer challenges.
- Tailor demos and conversations to match the unique needs of small business prospects.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to the Product team to enhance user experience.
- Deal Strategy & Competitive Knowledge
- Leverage deal strategy techniques to drive customer value while maintaining margin targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers by understanding their pain points and recommending solutions.
