Job Summary

Kensington is seeking a Jr. Global Sales Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with our global Sales and Technical Teams to support pre and post-sales activities, provide technical guidance to customers, and contribute to the development of solutions that align with client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with pre and post-sales technical support to customers, sales teams, and channel partners.
  • Participate in product demonstrations, webinars, and virtual training sessions to showcase solutions and value propositions.
  • Work with the global sales teams to identify and qualify business opportunities as well as understand key technical requirements.
  • Support the creation of sales enablement materials such as presentations, whitepapers, and technical documents.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from clients and provide initial troubleshooting support.
  • Stay up to date on product features, competitive landscape, and industry trends to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Assist in drafting responses to proposals (RFPs) and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Support to relay customer feedback and enhance solutions.
  • Develop relationships with customers and partners to ensure successful product adoption and satisfaction.
  • Represent Kensington at user group meetings, tradeshows, and industry conferences.
  • Work closely with strategic partners to develop or enhance our solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% - domestic and international as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred.
    • Or three years of experience in a relevant market and industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a keen interest in technology and sales.
  • Experience with solution selling and technical presentations is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a remote and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings or client interactions.
  • Self-starter, energetic and pro-active with the ability to adjust to ambiguity.
  • Detailed-orientated with a desire to engage with partners and end users daily.
  • Experience with computer attached peripherals preferred. 
  • Experienced in solution selling, project scoping and product demonstrations.
  • Comfortable with consultative presentation to C-level business executives as well as detailed, in-depth discussions with a technical audience.
  • This is a remote position. Candidates based in the CST or EST time zones are highly preferred.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
