As the holiday season approaches, we want to inform you that response times and the hiring process may be slightly extended due to business team schedules. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this period and remain committed to keeping you informed as we review applications. Thank you for considering a role at ŌURA—we look forward to learning more about you!

  • Liaise with and supervise outside law firms, vendors, and internal business partners as needed for pending IP matters
  • Draft legal documents, including cease and desist letters and Notices of Opposition
  • Review advertising and promotional materials across all forms of media to monitor for marketing and regulatory issues
  • Conduct risk assessments and advise on claim substantiation requirements, right of publicity clearances, and draft disclosures
  • Structure and review Terms and Conditions for marketing promotions, including domestic and international sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions and incentives
  • Draft and negotiate IP licenses (i.e., music, product placement) and marketing agreements with third parties
  • Assist with third-party market analysis
  • Provide education and proactive counseling to the business to manage risk and enhance IP protection
