JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team.

 

The Opportunity

 

The Inside Sales Representative will focus on proactive selling; monitoring top quotes with direct interaction with dealers to understand specifics of the opportunities. As defined, move opportunities into pipeline and drive engagement with sales. Drive overall opportunities to capture sales revenue back from customers that decreased over time.

Follow-up on open issues and keep Jeld-Wen as preferred product.

 

This is a remote position. You may be based out of any location.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Interface/collaborate with the proper facility/company personnel to bring resolution to customer issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Who You Are

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED
  • An associate degree in business, technical discipline and/or three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in sales support preferred. 

 

How You Stand Out

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate information to customers. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes involved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems and concerns involving concrete variables in standardized situations from customers.
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations; ability to work independently and in a team; passionate about providing the exceptional customer experience and participate as part of a team to succeed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Titan and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets.

Expected pay for this role is between $21.92 to $36.54 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
