At Automation Anywhere, we are looking for passionate and innovative thought leaders to join our Industry Catalyst team as key contributors. As an Industry Transformation Leader, you’ll collaborate with sales teams and customers to design customized solution roadmaps that align with business strategies. This role invites individuals with deep industry knowledge and a keen understanding of future trends and challenges, especially those where Intelligent Automation can offer solutions.

We seek individuals with a strong connection to their industry, who can confidently discuss and demonstrate the value of Automation Anywhere’s platform. Blending technical and consultative sales skills, you’ll partner with teams to understand business and technical needs, helping to shape technical sales strategies and find the right Automation Anywhere solution.

As an Industry Transformation Leader, you’ll serve as a trusted expert, guiding sales teams on how Intelligent Automation fits into a broader enterprise business landscape. If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic, solution-driven environment, this role is for you.

Who you’ll report to:

This role reports directly to our VP, Sales Engineering

Location: 

Remote role, based in the United States - ability to work within any U.S time zone

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

Primary Objective – 60 % Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Driving software license upsell through direct engagement in top sales pursuits and development of scalable, industry-specific content. Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to qualify sales opportunities
  • Engaging with customers at various levels, translating business requirements into technical architectures and business roadmaps that leverage AAI products. Lead business sessions to design and document solutions aligned with customer objectives.
  • Driving the digital change agenda with demonstrable experience in complex, agile digital transformations using AAI technologies. Combine immediate customer needs with long-term planning for future success.
  • Partnering with AAI Product, Services, Enterprise Architecture teams, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success to establish and promote best practices. Provide customers with a handover framework for implementation, ensuring best practice recommendations
  • Engaging with main Global System Integrators (GSIs) and partners to build joint solutions for specific industries

Secondary Objective: 30 % Thought Leadership & AAI Evangelization

  • Leveraging deep knowledge of the Automation Success Platform, enterprise technologies, and industry experience to be recognized as a thought leader and trusted advisor by customers, prospects, and partners
  • Understanding business strategy, legislation, and global industry trends to guide transformation objectives for large companies and government departments. Gain CXO sponsorship to navigate organizational blockers and ensure AAI’s value proposition is fully understood
  • Staying updated on enterprise technology developments to identify key drivers and risks, and articulate AAI’s unique differentiators aligned with strategic business outcomes
  • Using industry knowledge to guide customers in line with AAI’s value proposition, determine best-of-breed technologies for customer-specific architectures, and share best practices globally for customer success and adoption
  • Evangelizing AAI DX through industry speaking engagements, press and analyst sessions, cross-industry events, and seminars to influence the business sector. Lead business discussions on change programs with internal teams and customers

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Technology or other related field preferred
  • Deep industry knowledge: 10+ years of relevant work experience plus expertise in Industry Advisory or Digital Transformation within the Banking and Financial Services industries
  • Breadth and depth of experience in technology and IT Operations and have an understanding at an executive level, organizational structures, systems, architectures, and clearly understanding of how the industry operates, including regulatory, competitive and market influences that drive decision making
  • Exceptional communication, strategic, analytical, influencing, and consulting skills, as well as a track record of building and leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Excellent presentation experience presenting to both large and small audiences (C-level Executives, IT Management, Exec-level business sponsors)
  • Proven track record of driving strategic account pursuits

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Analyzing customer challenges and providing innovative, effective solutions using Automation Anywhere's technology
  • Customer Focus: Prioritizing customer satisfaction by understanding their business requirements and delivering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations

The salary range or on-target earnings (base salary + on-target incentives) for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $300,000 - $320,000 a year, and outside of those locations is $280,000 - $300,000 a year. The salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.  This position is also eligible for equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
