About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Director of the Higher Education new business team whose passion for hitting revenue numbers and KPIs runs as deep as their desire for and development of people. This leader will be responsible for driving new business growth for the higher education vertical. This candidate will hire, develop, and coach the higher education account executives (new business) team.
Responsibilities
- Report into the EVP of Sales, and lead a team of Higher Education Account Executives
- Drive a high-performance, high-accountability culture to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- Coach, manage, and develop sellers with an emphasis on continual learning and skill-gap improvement
- Develop processes that scale and drive consistent execution across the team
- Monitor sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to proactively adapt to changing conditions
- Drive alignment with cross-functional teams in Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations
- Drive revenue success by owning and exceeding Niche’s quarterly/annual sales targets
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPIs, the frequency and impact of these root causes, and your recommendations to double down or course correct as needed
- Attract, hire, and retain high-performing talent with an aptitude to learn and grow
What We Are Looking For
- Significant experience leading sales at a high-growth B2B SaaS or Ed-Tech company
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with various departments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and data-driven, with a strong growth mindset
- Ability to analyze sales metrics, identify areas of opportunity, and build training plans to improve the team
- Experience selling an extensive product suite
- Experience with driving pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Experience selling consultative, information-based data-driven solutions
- Demonstrated success in bringing a new product or solution to market

Compensation
Our national target base salary range is $175,000 plus uncapped commission and participation in our Stock Option Program. The OTE (On Target Earnings) for this role will be $350,000.
