As the Head of Global Solutions Engineering, you will lead and scale our global Solutions Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role is instrumental in driving Vanta’s expansion into the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, including highly regulated industries. You’ll play a key role in establishing new practices including Demo Engineering, Enterprise Implementation, and advancing Vanta’s technical value selling frameworks.
You will be responsible for:
Evolving and scaling the Solutions Engineering function to ensure a best-in-class technical sales motion.
Building and managing a high-performing team of Solution Architects, responsible for onboarding and implementation of new Enterprise customers.
Enhancing our demo capabilities and technical value-selling framework to increase technical wins.
Strengthening the Account Executive & Solution Engineer partnership, ensuring seamless collaboration for strategic sales motions.
Driving technical credibility in Vanta’s expansion into complex, regulated verticals such as financial services, healthcare, and SaaS enterprise security.
Establishing best-in-class processes, playbooks, and enablement to support technical wins and smooth implementations.
What you’ll do as the Head of Global Solutions Engineering at Vanta:
Lead and scale a team of over two dozen Solution Engineers and Solution Architects across multiple regions.
Develop and implement repeatable, scalable pre-sales technical processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Advance the Solutions Engineering practice by continuously improving technical validation processes, POCs, and demo strategies.
Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to refine Vanta’s messaging, competitive positioning, and product feedback loop.
Own key metrics related to technical win rates, implementation success, and time-to-value for Enterprise customers.
Foster a high-performance culture, attracting, retaining, and developing top SE talent.
How to be successful in this role:
10+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering leadership roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
Experience leading and scaling global teams in pre-sales and/or post-sales technical roles.
Deep expertise in security, compliance, or enterprise SaaS; experience in compliance automation, cybersecurity, or GRC is a plus.
Strong track record of working with Enterprise and Mid-Market customers, particularly in highly regulated industries.
A hands-on leader who can both strategize at a high level and dive deep into technical challenges when needed.
Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships across Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
