About the role:
CoreWeave is leading the way in AI infrastructure, empowering enterprises with the most performant, efficient, and resilient cloud services for accelerated computing. As we continue our growth, we’re looking for a visionary Vice President of Brand Sponsorships to drive and expand our brand partnerships and sponsorship initiatives. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a deep understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship dynamics, and relationship management to elevate CoreWeave’s brand presence and business objectives.
As the Head of Brand Sponsorships, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for brand sponsorships, overseeing the full lifecycle from identifying high-value opportunities to negotiating deals and executing successful activations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our brand values and objectives, and you will mentor and lead a growing team focused on expanding CoreWeave’s sponsorship portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for brand sponsorships that aligns with overall business goals and enhances brand equity.
• Lead the development of sponsorship strategies that amplify CoreWeave’s presence in key markets, maximizing brand impact and audience engagement.
Sponsorship Development & Negotiation:
• Identify, negotiate, and secure high-value sponsorship opportunities with brands, events, and organizations that resonate with CoreWeave’s target audience.
• Ensure all sponsorships reflect CoreWeave’s brand values and business goals, driving mutual success.
Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brand partners, internal teams, and external agencies to ensure successful collaboration and execution of sponsorship initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between CoreWeave and partners, managing ongoing relationships and ensuring the longevity of partnerships.
Activation Strategy & Performance Metrics:
• Oversee the activation and execution of sponsorships, ensuring all initiatives are carried out effectively and meet or exceed established KPIs.
• Track and report on the success of sponsorship initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance.
Budget and Agency Management:
• Develop and manage the budget for brand sponsorships, ensuring resources are optimally allocated for maximum ROI.
• Vet, hire, and manage sponsorship marketing agencies to support the execution of sponsorship strategies.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sponsorship professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure sponsorships are integrated and aligned with broader marketing efforts.
Market Analysis & Competitive Landscape:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the sponsorship space.
• Provide regular insights to the executive team to inform strategic decisions and refine sponsorship strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in brand marketing, sponsorship, or partnership management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience securing high-profile, high-value sponsorships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, performance measurement, and optimizing sponsorship outcomes.
- Experience managing sponsorship agencies and vendors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
- Passion for technology, AI, and a deep understanding of brand dynamics and consumer behavior.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000-$262,500. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
