Group Creative Director, Creative Development - Temporary

Job Description:
We serve our clients from offices around the world. Passionate about building brands in diverse categories, we handle accounts of all sizes, from local to global, crossing all communication channels. We are currently hiring an Creative Director to confidently and independently lead brands, mentor associates, and manage the day-to-day progress of a project from start to finish. This role is project by project so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop creative solutions and skillfully produce work across a variety of platforms and mediums (video, still, OOH, print, social, activations - experiential, influencer, etc.) that meet and surpass client goals
- Be a part of the creative process from ideation to the final product, ensuring quality and style meet both our standards, and the client’s strategies and objectives
- Win a room over. Showcase exceptional presentation skills with an ability to clearly articulate and explain the creative work and your rationale behind it. Evoke excitement and passion with your recommendations
- Cultivate relationships with internal account teams and clients
- Manage, inspire, and challenge teams of Writers, Art Directors, and Designers
- Multitask to creatively manage multiple assignments and various timeframes and budgets
- Provide constructive feedback and nurture every good idea
- Set a tone that is respectful, openly inventive, collaborative, and wildly creative. Grow and nurture the culture of your team
- Be willing to jump in, roll up your sleeves, and work across all levels of the campaign
- Collaborate and partner with cross-department teams (Producers, Designers, and Strategy account) to develop and craft the final deliverables
- Strategically push the creative integrity of all campaigns and deliverables and steer teams' conceptual thinking
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of each clients’ products, marketing goals and objectives, and schedules, to create innovative work
- Productively involve yourself in the selection, planning, training, and any relevant HR matters
- Proactively identifies opportunities to increase the depth and breadth of creative work performed for clients, both from an understanding of the client's business and needs, but also from a knowledge of the industry, innovation, and competitors. Recognize opportunities. Be creative. A lot can be done with any brief.
- Realizes the strategic direction and creative vision of the agency and takes ownership of the delivery of the client’s brand vision
- Leads the creative team through regular work reviews, check-ins, goal planning, and training.
- Mentors direct reports, creates a supportive culture, and encourages people to consistently excel
- Responsible for new business pitch, creative leadership and delivery
- Ensures the best creative resource is allocated to the correct projects by liaising with Resource and Project Management
Person Specification
- 7-9+ years of experience in the creative advertising industry
- Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing or related field
- In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
- Demonstrate ability to creatively work and collaborate with senior clients and leadership
- Strong presentational skills
- Approachable leader
- Highly organized and professional, along with outgoing, friendly, fearless, and resilient
The anticipated salary range for this position is ($163,000-$263,0). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
