Overview of Position
This role ensures that Office of the CEO projects are managed effectively, executive events are flawlessly executed, and a broad group of internal and external stakeholders are kept informed, engaged and contribute as applicable. It drives and increases effectiveness and impact of the Office of the CEO and enterprise strategic planning and supports key projects. Building and maintaining trust with executive leaders, this role handles confidential information with high integrity and attention to detail.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Manage & Complete Deliverables for Key Processes & Projects 50%
Oversee and manage cross-functional projects critical to the Office of the CEO. Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This includes tracking progress, managing resources and addressing any issues that arise.
Ensures timely and effective completion of deliverables of the Office of the CEO. Including but not limited to executive meetings (in-person and remote), Board of Directors deliverables, Assurant Leadership Team meetings (in-person and remote).
Identify opportunities to streamline and scale processes; build support for process improvements and implement them. Create templates and repeatable project artifacts.
Effectively manage stakeholders for their contributions, input and awareness.
Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders internally and externally ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities.
Assist in driving strategic priorities throughout the organization in alignment of organizational objectives within and across MCOM. Monitors, coordinates, documents and communicates progress towards achievement of business goals and strategies.
Prepares communications and materials across multiple vehicles and channels (email, presentation, etc) to successfully drive desired outcomes – including on behalf of CEO.
Develop executive-level briefings in support of CEO deliverables.
Manage CEO-Sponsored Events 30%
Planning, organizing, communicating and executing events sponsored by the CEO, including employee events (large and small scale), bespoke events and executive meetings.
Works with various departments and external vendors to ensure that events run smoothly, meet expectations and reflect the organization and CEO’s brand and culture. Manage budget and invoices for these events.
Recommends annual priorities for events to drive maximum value and impact to the organization, in partnership with Chief of Staff and other stakeholders.
Collect and analyze feedback from event participants; prepare communications to share feedback with applicable stakeholders; make recommendations to improve events based on feedback and organization objectives.
Manage Enterprise Strategic Planning 20%
Coordinates strategic planning for key enterprise deliverables (including but not limited to business reviews, Board of Directors meetings, Management Committee meetings and Assurant Leadership Team) including execution and tracking of deliverables.
Connect the dots across the organization to ensure we are operating as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Develops and implements strategic and operational plans that drive success within key areas.
Facilitates tactical and operational planning of key enterprise processes.
Travel between 10-15%
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least 8+years of managerial experience.
6 years of project/program management experience supporting senior level executives, corporate event planning and/or managing executive-level communications.
Knowledge and Skills
Exercise good judgement in a diversity of situations
Ability to work across multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced team environment; demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
Works well and strong build relationships with individuals in all levels of the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Problem Solver.
Well-developed project management skills

Pay Range:
$119,600.00 - $199,800.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
