Our events team focuses on creating exceptional experiences for both clients and attendees.   TechnologyAdvice is looking for an experienced and motivated Global Event Manager to lead our Global Events Team. You will plan, manage, and execute in-person and virtual events.  You need to be highly organized, skilled at project management, KPI orientated, and excited about fast-paced work.

What you'll do

  • Manage and support a variety of global in-person and online events
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and assist with removing roadblocks throughout projects 
  • Communicate efficiently with stakeholders and clients on progress and outcomes
  • Lead and manage a team of event professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure event execution
  • Event management to include pre-event preparation, data analysis, logistics management, supplier coordination, budget management, and post-event close-out
  • Manage supplier selections, contract negotiations, and RFP processes for each event
  • Develop event promotion plan and ensure proper execution
  • Lead the design and planning of events including conceptual design, speaker management, audience generation, event production (virtual, hybrid, in-person), post-event follow-up, and analysis
  • Own individual event budgets and invoicing
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, partners, and industry associations to enhance event quality and achieve business goals

 

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in event management, planning, and executing event and marketing strategies
  • The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter who is proactive and enthusiastic about working in a team and leading from the front
  • Must be analytical and data-driven
  • Hands-on experience working with registration and online experience
  • Must have contract negotiation skills as well as experience managing RFP processes from start to finish
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively negotiate demands and manage suppliers
  • Must have the ability to travel, internationally and domestically
  • Strong project management skills with a commitment to being highly organized, determined to meet deadlines, and focused on quality control
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate concepts and details across internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.   

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.Annual pay range$100,000—$115,000 USD
