GIS and Analytics Team Lead (Remote)

What you will be doing:
- Manage and mentor a team of GIS analysts, developers, and specialists.
- Grow a portfolio of advanced GIS, analytics, and data visualization capabilities including supporting business development efforts.
- Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of government and commercial clients for long-term GIS and analytics engagement.
- Oversee work to successfully deliver a wide range of advanced analytics and GIS projects, from enterprise data management solutions to highly specific analytical modeling efforts.
- Apply cross-domain subject expertise to create novel, data-driven solutions for clients working in challenging mission areas.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience performing GIS analysis involving environmental, land use, and infrastructure data. A solid understanding of spatial analysis, geospatial data visualization, and GIS workflows is essential.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Esri’s full suite of desktop and web software. Experience with open-source GIS software and tools is a plus.
- 5+ years in business development or sales within the GIS or geospatial industry. Skills in identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
- Understand concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for analyzing and visualizing all types of GIS and remote sensing data.
- Familiarity with the deployment of enterprise GIS solutions in the cloud.
- Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative.
- Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

- Esri ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and associated software solutions for AI, mobile, and remote sensing)
- Cloud hosting and cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
