Field Account Manager - San Diego, CA - Remote

What you will accomplish together with us
- You will promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range and key accounts to achieve sales and revenue target
- In this key role you will be a trusted business partner to our customers, developing strong customer relations in accordance with the organizational strategy.
- In this role, you will assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate.
- One of your tasks will be to work closely with cross functional teams to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from accounts.
- You will coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory.
- Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business.
- Manage and build strong customer and distribution relationships for long term partnerships.
- One of your tasks will be to organize, plan and schedule selling time for optimal effective account and territory coverage.
- You will fully develop current product knowledge capabilities, applications, and product justifications, in order to be recognized as an expert in the laboratory products field.
What will convince us:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a science discipline or with relevant sales experience in applied and life science research laboratories.
- 2+ year(s) of field account experience in a laboratory setting
- 2+ year(s) working knowledge experience with CRM systems (SFDC)
- You have a U.S. valid Drivers License and Passport
- You have working knowledge of Salesforce.com
- You are proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel

- Understanding of the general laboratory market space is preferred-particularly in the Academic, Biotechnology, Biopharma, Industrial, Food and Beverage, Medical Device/Diagnostics, Environmental and Chemical customer segments.
- Willingness and ability to travel. Overnight travel for this position will be limited

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $95,000.00 and $105,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate’s base salary.
