Executive Leadership Trainer

Location: Remote with up to 50% travel (Northeast, New England, Mid-Atlantic)

Primary Responsibilities:Mastery in delivering training and workshops:
Teach and facilitate leadership development coursework and programming that resonates with senior-level individuals and teams to elevate their leadership performance
Study, learn, and practice leadership-focused content to deliver with mastery and authenticity
Build strong, trusting alliances:
Collaborate with the broader learning and development team and internal and external senior leaders to design and deliver high-impact trainings for teams and leaders
Demonstrate a strong feeling of care for and curiosity about others and their experiences
Leadership:
Create an environment where trust, openness, and genuine engagement thrive, leading to stronger individual and team performance
Invest in the development of your peers by creating professional development experiences aimed at leveling-up the team’s leadership and delivery acumen
Work closely with Talent and Human Resources Business Partners to support performance and talent opportunities and initiatives.

Scope of Responsibilities:This role is responsible for leading, planning and executing the delivery of high quality, value-added learning and facilitation experiences (often complex in nature) across the enterprise and to clients at senior and executive-levels.
This position directly communicates with Senior, Middle and Line Management and External Clients.
Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities:
May oversee the day-to-day work of a more junior facilitator team and provide support and guidance, but is not responsible for performance management, compensation planning, or other similar duties.
Education and Experience Required:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or applicable field and 7 years’ relevant work experience. In lieu of degree, 11 years combined higher education and work experience.
- Ability to effectively combine instructional design methodology and adult learning principles to implement learning programs that maximize employee development and job performance
- Ability to lead and collaborate on the design and delivery of various programmatic learning events tied to the bank’s Leadership Competencies and the needs of the organization
- Ability to effectively coach high potential talent to unlock potential and effectively navigate the organization
- Strong spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation application skills
- Strong project management skills and the ability to influence a work team of subject matter experts.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills
- Fluent public speaking and writing skills and presentation experience to highly skilled professionals.
- Experience effectively interacting and working with senior management
- Strong negotiation and influence skills
- Ability to build productive customer relationships
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Ability to travel up to 35%
Master’s or other advanced degree in relevant field
Demonstrated experience, confidence, and command in training or coaching executives on leadership concepts (e.g. strategic communication, creating vision, inspiring others, influence, building alliances, growing financial value, developing talent)
Demonstrated ability to study and learn leadership-focused content in order to deliver with mastery and authenticity
Demonstrated experience in motivating individuals to adopt new leadership habits
Demonstrated experience in selflessly helping peers grow to meet their professional goals
Demonstrated experience in strategically leading through ambiguity and complexity
