Executive Account Manager - Health Plans

Job Summary

The Executive Account Manager will serve as the point person for Medline’s sales efforts National Accounts within the Managed Care division. This person will develop the overall strategy and direction, manage the relationship and service delivery, and have responsible for growing sales.

The location for this position is flexible. We are open to candidates who live near major international airports in California, Arizona or Nevada.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with healthcare executives and other critical decision makers within the country's largest Managed Care companies to drive Medline sales growth and develop effective solutions to meet customers’ needs and expectations.

  • Develop tactics, strategies and programs with the country's largest health insurance companies to create value for membership with the ultimate goal of attracting new and retaining current members within their health plans 

  • Work cross functionally with internal sales and product divisions to drive alignment to overall vision and goals set forth with health insurance plans, as many of these large plans continue to increase and expand their ownership stake in surgery centers and physician offices nationally

  • Create and drive the project plan with internal support and resources to ensure successful implementation of Medline’s product offerings and solutions.

  • Responsible for building a strategic business plan that provides shared value to both Medline and the customer which will lead to attainment of long-term sales targets and sustainable growth.

  • Evaluate account challenges and analyze customer data and provide a consultative approach in partnership with field sales and other Medline resources to fulfill customer needs and deliver on overall business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • At least 5+ years sales experience 

  • Experience selling at c-suite level

  • Experience building and maintaining key customer relationships

  • Experience with financial acumen & analytics

  • Ability to travel 25-40% (out of state travel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience selling in the managed care industry


 

Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The anticipated compensation for this position includes $95,000-$135,000 annually in guaranteed base salary This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
