We are looking for a dedicated Event Program Manager with a strong focus on fostering and enhancing our customer community through strategic event planning and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing events that not only showcase our brand but also build stronger relationships within our customer community. The successful candidate will have experience in B2B event management and a passion for community engagement, with the ability to design events that drive customer loyalty, knowledge sharing and network building.
Responsibilities:
- Execute an event strategy that is centered on the needs and interests of our customer community, including user conferences, networking events, webinars and community meetups
- Manage the end-to-end process of event planning and execution, from conceptualization through to on-site or virtual delivery, ensuring all events are aligned with the community’s needs and the company’s goals
- Design events that foster deep engagement within the customer community, encouraging participation, knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer networking
- Gather and incorporate feedback from the customer community to continuously improve the quality and relevance of events
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that events deliver strong ROI
- Lead post-event activities and analysis of event success to inform future community-driven initiatives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including community management, marketing, product and customer support, to ensure events are fully integrated into broader community-building efforts
- Support development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with our audiences and drive ISB growth
- Stay informed of the latest event related trends and best practices
- Advocate for new ideas and approaches in support of continuous improvement / innovation
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree
- 4 – 5 years of experience: Proven experience as an Event Program Manager or similar role with a strong portfolio of working in a B2B environment.
- Flexibility in managing events across different time zones or regions given the global nature of the customer community
- Technical proficiency: Experience with event management software and tools, such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms, Microsoft Office Suite
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualification:
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners and internal stakeholders
- Creative problem-solving abilities, with a passion for creating unique and engaging event experiences
- Strong understanding of community dynamics and the ability to design events that meet the needs of a diverse customer base. Demonstrated ability to place the customer at the heart of everything
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution
Must Have a valid US Indefinite Work Permit

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $57,800 - $107,300.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
