Enterprise social media is a part of the Digital Communications and Brand team in the Global Communications organization. 

Position Description 

Come join a thriving, Enterprise, cross-functional team that is focused on advancing social capabilities across our business, around the world. 

The Community Manager is an experienced, creative motivated individual who will provide thought leadership and lead best-in-class social media content development, publishing, monitoring and engaging across our headquarters company social media channels. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Community manages 4+ social media channels to enable healthy and thriving social communities.  

  • Leverage calendaring tools for coordinating, planning, and uploading approved content for publishing across corporate social platforms. 

  • Daily monitoring, engage with our community, reply to comments, and monitor for AE/PQC 

  • Support team with organic and paid performance reporting, benchmarking, and paid ad trafficking. 

  • Assure content is medically and legally approved prior to publishing to corporate channels. 

  • Attend/support collaboration with Content Review Team (CRT) members in development and approval of content as needed. 

  • Maintain a social media center of excellence in content capabilities, creative best practices, paid capabilities, and social-first thinking that celebrates diversity and inclusivity. 

  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams within global communications and agency partners to create tailored organic and paid social content plans to reach and actively engage target audiences. 

  • Manage the day-to-day interactions with creative and paid agencies of record, collaborating on annual social strategy. 

  • Collaborate and coach others on creative and paid best practices, appropriate channel selection and paid amplification based on target audience and desired outcomes. 

  • Provide social thought leadership, model compliance, and share content across a robust global network of community managers. 

  • Drive experimentation and advance our social strategy and other innovative ways to connect with new audiences across a variety of key platforms. 

  • Nurture key partnerships with current and emerging social media platforms to gain first-mover access that drives our brand and business forward. 

  • Conduct all activities in full compliance with our company policies, values, and standards. This is a critical component of a highly visible role within the company. 

Location/Commute:  

  • Applicants must have the ability to work from our site in Rahway, NJ. 

  • We offer a Hybrid Work Model, a combination of 3 days in-office (onsite) & 2 days offsite/remote). 

  • This position cannot be 100% remote.

  • Note - This role has 25% to 50% expected Travel for events, congresses, meetings etc. ("Up to 50%" between June to September months)

Position Qualifications 

Education Minimum Requirement: 

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 5+ years' experience in social media marketing in a global capacity, creating strategies and content using core and emerging social media platforms.

  • Driving both paid and organic promotion on social media channels. 

  • Social Media Channel Management and familiarity with social technologies (Khoros, Hootsuite, Social Studio, Sprout Social, Kapost, Canva, etc.) 

  • Proficiency with technical aspects of social media, data, data sources, and visualization 

  • Comfortable working in highly matrixed environment of multiple teams/agencies and thrive under tight timelines when needed. 

  • Proven project planning skills with eye for details and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication/presentation, effective writing, and content creation skills 

  • Ability to think analytically and problem solve when needed. 

Preferred Experience and Skills 

  • Experience managing social media in a highly regulated industry. 

  • Knowledge of paid social media, brand lift studies, A/B testing, and social analytics 

  • Familiar with employee advocacy technology and strategies 

  • Experience working with influencers on social media.   

  • Graphic design skills

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$91,600.00 - $144,100.00
