Job Summary:

TekniPlex is a diversified manufacturing company. We have over 12 plants in the USA and Mexico that produce egg cartons. In this home based role, the Egg Sales Leader will be responsible for all sales for the Egg category, across all materials (Fiber, Foam, Rigid Plastics, etc.), achieving financial plans, building relationships, and working collaboratively with other stakeholders (internal and external), such as Marketing & Business Development, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, etc. This individual will successfully lead the sales team a team across USA and Mexico. Travel will be approx 50%.

The primary goal of the Category Leader is to sell L1 and L2 products to existing and new customers to protect and grow the FFS business leading their respective sales team to execute on the sales strategy, develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, developing and managing accounts, protecting the company’s profitability through pricing and leading their teams into success. The Category Leader will do this by collaboratively planning and executing with cross-functional resources at multiple senior-levels internally and externally. This position is a member of the FFS America Sales team reporting to the VP of Sales.

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Execution:

Develop short- and long-term sales budget and forecasts, including reporting on daily, weekly and monthly progress, planning and executing activities to meet or exceed company objectives while minimizing sales expenses. Negotiate supply agreements and pricing with clients, ensuring profitable agreements. Work collaboratively to provide delivery dates to customer, investigate and resolve customer possible challenges related to customers’ orders. Identify and pursue opportunities to sell existing products to existing and new customers in the egg industry. Prepare and present reports on a regular basis. Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on –site or by phone.

 

2. Sales Pipeline Management:

Monitor and continuously improve the Egg Sales Pipeline, working closely with Marketing and Business Development to constantly improve how we capture and manage new opportunities. Push opportunities forward and developing a deep understanding on why we win or lose opportunities, reporting results back to the business.

3. Key Account Management:

Foster strong relationships with current and new customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to ensure that TekniPlex is seen as a materials solutions provider of value-added products and services. Establish …
