The District Manager -Convenience will lead a team of sales representatives to ensure flawless execution of the business KPIs. You will provide guidance and coaching to your team to deliver against our Perfect Store Execution Standards with a focus on 1) Expanding distribution 2) Executing shelving principles, 3) Activating Promotions and secondary displays, and 4) Delivering against RGM principles. Convenience Retail Managers will be responsible for convenience stores and small chains within the designated geography.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Delivery – Deliver against quarterly sales objectives through the execution of perfect store principles.
Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and high performance.
Coaching and Development: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, ride-alongs, and group training sessions to enhance the skills and performance of sales reps. Develop sale rep capabilities within selling, negotiation, account management skills.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Set clear sales targets and KPIs for representatives. Regularly review performance and provide constructive feedback. Analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Assess operating KPIs and refine Priority Call coverage, model call times, route efficiency
Cross-functional Collaboration - Collaborate with the distributor and retailer headquarter teams to implement effective sales strategies that align with district goals and market demands.
Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with the team to optimize sales approaches.
Customer Relationship Management: Support sales reps in building and maintaining strong relationships with store owners and key customers to drive partnership.

Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Job specific requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the retail or convenience store industry.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of sales representatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the district as needed.
Travel requirements: Yes, this is a field sales position based in Houston, Dallas, or Austin TX with travel required across the entire state of Texas and occasional travel to Oklahoma.
The base salary range for this position is $87,600 to $120,525; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
