About the role:

Responsible for managing and growing the Cytiva business within given territory as a Discovery Account Manager for our Academic Accounts and Applied Market. Working together with our instrument and applications specialists to present technologies and solutions to help our customers achieve success across their workflows.

Additionally, you will also be accountable for growing our research consumables portfolio within all customer account segments in the territory (Biotech, CDMO, Genomic Medicine, Industrial/Applied Market and Biopharma). This will involve working with our channel partners to motivate, encourage and support them to promote Cytiva research consumable product ranges.

  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • The Account Manager’s main objective will be to grow the overall portfolio sales in your territory within all customer segments as well as to grow the overall Cytiva portfolio for the accounts.  
  • Account Manager will own the customer relationship representing the entire Cytiva portfolio. Work cross-functionally across Cytiva Operating Companies to develop solutions and offerings to enable assigned customer’s success across their workflows. 

  • Builds a strategic plan in their assigned accounts to partner with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to develop and implement annual account plans to grow Cytiva business.  

  • Be accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline & sales using our CRM, including the design in module. Achieve the quarterly and yearly operating plan while driving customer satisfaction and customer retention. 

  • Take the lead on contract and pricing negotiation in addition to complex and strategic deal development at assigned accounts. Assist in proposal preparation and presentation to customers.
