Director of Sales Enablement - Advertising Team

We are seeking our first Director of Sales Enablement to join the Rockbot Advertising team, bringing a passion for innovation and a talent for strategic execution. In this pivotal role, you will have the unique opportunity to establish and build our sales enablement function from the ground up. This includes designing sales processes, developing sales marketing collateral, overseeing account management, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving revenue growth.

This highly visible, cross-functional role involves working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Ad Operations, and Data teams. You will oversee the creation of compelling sales collateral, respond to RFPs, and support account management and client success functions. You will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with Rockbot’s business goals.
  • Create and maintain a library of sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, one-pagers, brochures, product sheets and competitive analysis.
  • Develop compelling, data-driven sales decks and proposals tailored to various client segments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure sales materials are up-to-date and effectively communicate Rockbot’s value proposition.
  • Lead the response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring that proposals are compelling and meet client needs.
  • Assist in developing strategies to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients.
  • Manage account management and client success efforts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the sales enablement technology such as the customer relationship management (CRM) system, and other sales enablement repositories.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to sales leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proactively implement changes or new processes, tools, and strategies to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Continuously identify and implement new tools, processes, and strategies to enhance sales team performance.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in sales enablement.

You have:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement or a related field, preferably within an Advertising environment.
  • Expertise in sales team CRM knowledge and usage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and create engaging sales collateral.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to think big-picture while managing day-to-day details.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of inspiring and mentoring sales teams.

Compensation:

Rockbot takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location in the U.S. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

The compensation band for this role is $130,000 to $180,000, plus equity, and benefits for all team members.
