The Director of Growth Marketing will be instrumental in driving customer acquisition and growth through strategic and data-driven marketing initiatives. You will oversee and integrate paid media, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and lifecycle marketing into a cohesive growth marketing team. This strategic position demands a blend of creativity, analytical acumen, and leadership skills to design and implement comprehensive growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and executing successful growth strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals across paid media, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, and lifecycle marketing.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, setting clear goals and expectations for the team.
- Develop and implement team processes, workflows, and best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities through data analysis, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Performance and Analytics:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Measure and optimize Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) and Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) to ensure efficient spending and high (incremental) returns.
- Continuously assess overall paid acquisition performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and scaling successful tactics.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximization of ROI.
- Evaluate and negotiate with external vendors and partners to support marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on customer acquisition and performance marketing.
- Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including Paid Media, Affiliate Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Salary range: $150,000-$230,000 USD - Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
