The Business Development Director for the ASL Now division will lead and execute strategic sales initiatives, driving revenue growth and expanding the division’s market presence. This role will focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and fostering client relationships. Reporting directly to leadership, the Director will manage a team of Senior Accessibility Consultants, guiding their efforts in delivering innovative accessibility solutions to clients.

Requirements

Essential Functions 

  • Drive strategic growth by identifying and cultivating high-value business opportunities, leading efforts to expand ASL Now’s contracts and partnerships.
  • Conduct sophisticated market research and competitive analysis to target key accounts and craft tailored strategies that secure long-term agreements.
  • Define and execute comprehensive business strategies, sales initiatives, and marketing plans that align with organizational objectives and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Lead end-to-end proposal and RFP processes, ensuring alignment with client objectives and delivering compelling, competitive solutions.
  • Act as a principal advisor to prospective clients, promoting ASL Now’s services and addressing complex organizational needs to establish enduring partnerships.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of client feedback on CSD’s technology to identify opportunities for enhancing service delivery and fostering innovation.
  • Partner with Division President of ASL Now to negotiate and finalize high-value contracts, integrating complex requirements into seamless operational processes to support business goals.
  • Develop and implement advanced market strategies to penetrate targeted industries and strengthen ASL Now’s competitive position.
  • Analyze and prepare comprehensive sales reports to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor industry developments and market trends to anticipate opportunities, adapt strategies, and maintain leadership in the accessibility space.
  • Partner with the Division President of ASL Now to shape the division’s growth trajectory, drive strategic initiatives, and deepen client relationships. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in leading sales, marketing, platform management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience working with CRM systems, demonstrating advanced proficiency in CRM management, data analysis, and process optimization.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in a business development role. 
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience leading high performing teams. 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community and a commitment to CSD’s mission.
  • Ability to communicate in American Sign Language (Required)


Work Environment / Physical Requirements


This position is moderately self-directed and requires understanding and compliance with company policies, procedures, and values. The position works in a virtual office environment utilizing a computer and standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to interact collaboratively with the team and stakeholders, and communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The position may require travel up to 15%.
