The Director of Medical Sales manages and directs a team of National Account Directors and oversees the Organization's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. The position sets short and long-term sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current sales programs. This Director recommends product and/or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consistently demonstrates and promotes best practices on effective sales management skills

  • Leads a team of Regional Medical Program Directors and provides coaching and feedback to help the team reach business goals and objectives

  • Influences others internally and externally and negotiates effectively

  • Forecasts and sets both business and professional goals and plans

  • Demonstrates excellent presentation and public speaking skills

  • Facilitates effective presentation and sales training

  • Communicates effectively in writing and can edit proposals and presentations

  • Maintains organizational and long-range planning skills with the ability to handle numerous details

  • Engages in self-directed time management, project management, prioritization and organizational skills

  • Exhibits high energy level, confidence and optimism and can thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Focuses on results and strong management skills with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks

  • Works effectively in a dispersed and remote workforce

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in any form of a partnerships or sales role and at least 1 year of experience in management

  • Strong analytical skills including data and spreadsheet manipulation (Excel, Google Sheets)

  • Strong ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external partnerships and relationships

  • Extensive program and project management experience

  • Capability to set up new systems and processes in order to streamline business functions

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership from inception to completion

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Acute attention to detail and a bias for action and efficient, accurate follow-through, and follow-up

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment to meet tight deadlines with limited oversight

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in B2B Healthcare Sales Experience

This position is a Salary Grade B. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
