Director, Manufacturing Project and Change Management

Job Description
Our company's Manufacturing Division Strategy and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the creation, execution, and realization of the Divisional Strategy in alignment with our company's Strategic Framework. This includes performing detailed strategic analysis, enabling the implementation of the strategic vision, and integrating key strategy elements needed to transform the business, with ongoing project/initiative elements needed to run and improve the business. The team leverages the Strategy Realization Framework to execute change management and optimize delivery to the manufacturing sites and functions for divisional-level programs in collaboration with our Manufacturing Division Communications.
The Director, Project and Change Management, will report to the Executive Director, Head of Manufacturing Strategy and PMO and will interact regularly with key operational/functional group leaders as a project manager or change management lead for division-wide events and initiatives.
The leader will be required to communicate, influence, and manage across Manufacturing as well as with partners in Digital, Learning & Development, Human Resources, and Communications to achieve outcomes towards our long-term strategic priorities. The Director will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, aligned outcomes and effective communication for manufacturing transformation projects/initiatives.
The initial priorities for the role will be project manager for our Manufacturing Division Summit, a three-day event that will bring together leaders, key partners, and emerging talent, in partnership with our Manufacturing Division President Chief of Staff and establishing business processes to enhance utilization of benchmarking resources. Strategic projects and change management projects to be added based on capacity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategy & Project Management:
- Orchestrate development of our Manufacturing Division summit-related content, attendee experience activities, communication with executive stakeholders, interface with external production, creative and meeting planning partners, and ensure an overall cohesive experience with seamless execution
- Ownership of the summit playbook and ensuring its evolution and scalability
- Proactively identify, manage, and execute projects of strategic importance for the division. Projects may be cross-Functional, cross-Geographical and/or cross-Divisional opportunities that require collaboration/coordination across multiple stakeholders.
- Support divisional strategy development and realization activities as needed
Benchmarking:
- Support functional partners to ensure contemporary knowledge of industry best practices and recommend actions
- Support partner navigation to benchmarking resources and manage Benchmarking SharePoint site maintenance and improvements
- Develop cross-divisional communication plan to enhance knowledge sharing. Build list of key stakeholders to notify as new content is added to site and push communications at a regular cadence to maintain long-term site visibility …
