The Opportunity:
TrueCar seeks a focused Director, Major Accounts Service with a passion for providing impeccable service and drive to meet or exceed business targets to lead a team of Regional Managers and Dealer Performance Managers (Major) accountable for serving our strategic dealer accounts and the overall dealer portfolio. In this role, you’ll develop and execute strategies to enhance client satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and ensure the successful delivery of our products and services. As Director, you will mentor the team and collaborate cross-functionally with dealer operations, sales, and marketing to align client needs with company goals.
How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:
- Leadership, Management, and Accountability: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Service Leaders and Dealer Performance Managers. Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a high-performance team culture with effective collaboration.
- Build and maintain deep long-term relationships with key clients at the corporate and dealership level.
- Act as a direct point of contact for complex Major Accounts, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure their goals are met and identify opportunities for further engagement.
- Develop and implement account strategies in parallel with the Sales team to grow and retain strategic accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling company products and services.
- Create and execute account plans, setting clear objectives and milestones.
- Track and analyze account performance using data and KPIs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, performance, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, operations, and other departments to align strategies and ensure a unified approach to account management.
- Coordinate with the product and service teams to promptly address client needs and customize solutions.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and renewals with major clients ensuring favorable contract terms meeting client and company expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape and utilize this knowledge to advise clients and make strategic recommendations.

- Expertise in leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce to optimize client interactions.

- Results-oriented problem solver with a data-first approach to decision-making.
- Ability to travel domestically by airplane or car including overnight trips over 85% of the time
Base salary + target incentive: $195,000 - $225,000
