Job DetailsThe Director of Commercialization Strategy is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of product commercialization initiatives within Global Products and Solutions. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with product development, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful market entry and sustained growth of new products. The Director will leverage market insights and competitive analysis to drive commercialization strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
This is a USA Remote position
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive commercialization strategies for new products, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market opportunities.
- Build upon existing commercial strategy design and delivery processes, while also focusing on continued process improvement.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product team, marketing, sales, IT, data and analytics and operations, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Support the product team throughout the Stage Gate process, ensuring key milestones are met.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on the development and execution of launch plans, including marketing strategies, pricing strategy, customer pipeline and sales training programs.
- Establish key OKR’s to track product performance post-launch and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, partners, and customers, to align expectations and foster collaboration.
- Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the commercialization process.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential challenges in the commercialization process.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Normally requires broad training in fields such as Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field obtained through completion of bachelor’s degree program; Master's Degree (MBA or MHA) preferred; requires a minimum of 6 + years related experience, such as lifecycle product management. Requires 10+ years of experience in product commercialization, marketing, or business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries with a proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving market growth.

Salary Range*$121,000 - 186,230*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
