The Director, Client Relations (CRD) role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients in an assigned book of business within our EdAdvisory businesses. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication and presentation skills into C-Suite contacts, and a proven track record in sales and account management for organizations with complex solutions.   

This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations with clients to review performance, address concerns, and discuss future opportunities
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to resolve any issues or challenges faced by clients
  • Facilitate and manage the retention of accounts to support the company’s expansion objectives
  • Proactively develop strong partnerships with clients to maximize retention and loyalty and to ensure compelling client testimonials and endorsements
  • Analyze program utilization data of client programs, effectively communicate utilization trends to clients and continuously provide strategic direction to clients to meet their organizational objectives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years or more of direct account or client relationship management with proven ability to upsell is required
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate the values and mission of the organization and full range of Bright Horizons services offered
