Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Corporate Account Manager to join its industry leading sales team, as part of the Global High-Tech Division.  You’ll be responsible for developing and expanding a key portfolio in addition to new and existing North American accounts in the fast-growing Data Center Market Segment.  Through outstanding presentation skills and style, you’ll help our customers be more profitable by saving water, energy and waste.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and expand existing key portfolio(s) and new North American Data Center accounts in the Global High-Tech Division.
  • Design and implement strategic business plans for North American Data Center accounts
  • Present value-add products and programs, highlighting impact to the customer’s business
  • Ensure customer service delivery emphasizing the delivery of Nalco Water’s value proposition
  • Build and secure major new Data Center business accounts at the corporate level and through new construction pipelines
  • Partner and lead service and sales teams to ensure that revenue and profit targets are met and delivery of Service Standards are consistent

Territory/Location Information: 

  • Location is flexible but needs to be near a major US airport 
  • Targeted accounts are within the Data Center Industry
  • ~35-50% overnight travel required

Training programs are held in the field and at Nalco Water Headquarters in Naperville, IL; travel is arranged and paid for by Nalco Water.  Based on your skill level and experience, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management and leadership, classroom training and certifications.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of technical sales experience
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Demonstrated large account management success is in selected industry with executive-level relationship sales experience
  • Experience in working with and supporting technology companies or critical operations customers.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

Base salary range is $150,000 - $165,000. This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
