Reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Contracts, this role is a strategic partner within the Interiors Supply Chain organization. This position coordinates with business partners on supply chain contract matters, manages a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, and communicates with supply chain leadership to develop, implement, and achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

What You Will Do:

• Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives.
• Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, including cost control guidelines.
• Manages projects focused on contract requirements, requiring excellent organizational skills.
• Reviews contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact. Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, commercial specifications, and other requirements.
• Prepares negotiation plans and contract reviews on a regular basis.
• Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through the development of unique contract terms and conditions.
• Briefs team leader and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation, and contingency plans based on developed recommendations.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve the quality of work product.
• Tracks and reports key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
• Represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.
• Provides legal advice on contractual matters and contract administration.
• Maintains historical legal records.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Juris Doctorate or Advanced Degree in Business Administration
• Supply Chain Contracts experience

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
