ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures for our prominent client in the automotive industry. Your role will involve strategizing and executing cloud solutions across various platforms, managing cloud migrations, and ensuring robust security practices. You will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies to create scalable, efficient, and secure cloud environments that meet the client’s business and technical requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cloud Architecture Design: Develop and implement cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Design scalable and efficient cloud solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Cloud Migration: Oversee and manage cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from on-premises to cloud environments. Address challenges related to hybrid environments and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Security and Best Practices: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to protect data and applications. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks.
• Strategic Planning: Conceptualize, strategize, and architect cloud solutions that support the client's business goals. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Apply DevOps practices and principles to streamline development and deployment processes. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated delivery of cloud-based applications.
• IaC and Microservices: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and technologies to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Design and implement microservices and serverless architectures to enhance application scalability and resilience.
• Networking and Database Architecture: Develop and optimize cloud networking solutions and database architectures. Ensure robust connectivity and efficient data management in cloud environments.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients, both business and technical audiences, to understand their needs and present cloud solutions. Deliver presentations, address client concerns, and provide problem-solving expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud architecture design and implementation on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Cloud Migration and Security: Proven experience with cloud migration, hybrid environments, and implementing cloud security best practices.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical background and engineering experience in conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions. Knowledge of IaC, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
• Networking and Database: In-depth understanding of networking principles, cloud security, and database architecture.
• Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing abilities, comfortable interacting with both business and technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills and a problem-solving mindset.
