Job Description SummaryAs the Clinical Education Manager, you will drive clinical specialization through thought leadership, innovation, and accountability within the Invasive Cardiology (iCAR) modality to deliver a best-in-class clinical education team and customer experience. You will lead the iCAR clinical education programs internally (Clinical Applications Specialist) and for external customers. You will partner with the global product and engineering teams to integrate clinical expertise and customer insights into future product development. You will serve as clinical subject matter expert for iCAR ensuring audit readiness and compliance.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities              

  • Clinical and product subject matter expert for iCAR driving clinical expertise across the team working closely with global education, product development, and marketing.
  • Clinical product foundation for the empowerment of everyday confidence in the CAS per their specialty.
  • Develop training programs/presentations to improve product, application, and presentation skills of the clinical applications team.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration to drive standardization of relevant programs across the business.
  • Partner with Director, Clinical Applications (DCA) to create and manage CAS Training Plans & documentation of product competency.
  • Proactively communicate clinical policy and procedure guidelines through monitoring industry advancements, trends, and objectives and implement into CAS (Clinical Applications Specialist) team
  • Support resource planning efforts including interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Provides leadership accountability for management of customer post-sale escalations.
  • Promote clinical applications education through customer lifecycle with solutions, including conferences and symposiums.
  • Deliver clinical perspective to support FMIs (Field Modification Instruction), working in tandem with the DCA Pivot.
  • Partner with the VEL (Virtual Education Leader) to establish a virtual clinical approach for iCAR.
  • Develop and maintain required well-written pre and post training documentation templates in conjunction with global guidance.
  • Exercise a quality mindset, maintaining, implementing, and monitoring processes as part of the Quality Management System.
  • Drive demo strategy and educational content for modality/segments where applicable.
  • Support turn-overs, follow-up visits, and CSOs (customer escalations) in the field as needed up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as a healthcare professional and 3+ years of experience in the clinical applications organization.
  • RT, RCIS, or RN Certification
  • Clinical knowledge of GEHC iCAR products and advanced applications
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for field support, Clinical Applications Specialist Training, and business meetings
  • Strong problem solving, project management and presentation skills (in person and virtually)
  • Active listening and clear communication skills

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,800.00-$163,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
