Job Summary

The Vice President of Business Development will have end-to-end responsibility for designing and executing the strategic sales plan for the BFSI market to secure new clients.

  • This includes prospecting, engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business
  • Manage multiple business initiatives in a start-up, high-growth environment
  • Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required
  • Win customers with solution-based sales approach while winning support of internal teams
  • Build a predictable pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Work with the internal proposal team to generate high quality proposals
  • Execute go-to-market plans via demand generation, conference attendance, industry events, etc.
  • Remain current with BFSI industry trends
  • Research and drive new business opportunities in conjunction with sales and senior management
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within and outside the company

Area of expertise (Skills)

  • 10+ years’ experience in the BFSI vertical with a focus on selling services
  • Demonstrated capability to generate business with new clients
  • Solid understanding of Company's market: products, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related markets
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills. Strong executive presence, both over the phone and in person
