Established in 2023, Comfort Owl is the newly formed rental and financing division of EMCO. Our program provides payment solutions to end-users through our contractors. Our mission is to help our partners offer payment options, so homeowners can feel comfortable making decisions that meet their needs and budget. With the growing need for Buy Now Pay Later services, Comfort Owl is looking to fulfill the need for an honest and transparent addition to the HVAC/plumbing rental and financing space.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team at Comfort Owl. In this remote position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our teammates, contractors, builders, and customers (our stakeholders). You will play a vital role in maintaining our rental, leasing, and financing portfolios, ensuring smooth program set-up, and fostering strong relationships with our stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent Comfort Owl.
  • Uphold our Core Values and Ethics with every interaction.
  • Be an effective part of the Comfort Owl team and collaborate with EMCO teammates across Canada to achieve mutual success.
  • Know the products and services being sold to each customer, and be persuasive by using excellent communication and selling skills.
  • Foster the growth and retention of our customer base and contribute to new business development initiatives.
  • Account management, customer training, facilitate smooth customer onboarding, and ensure proper documentation and adherence to established processes.
  • Answer calls and emails from customers and teammates, providing effective support and identifying their needs.
  • Follow up with contractors, builders, and teammates to ensure efficient execution of contracts.
  • Occasional travel to visit customers and teammates in person as required.
  • Maintain the rental, leasing, and financing portfolio database & CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Resolve customer concerns and conduct business in accordance with our policies and procedures (SPIs).
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent entrepreneurial experience.
  • Valid driver’s license – occasional travel within Ontario will be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Business development mindset with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a high standard of integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, taking initiative to achieve goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes in the evolving business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Past business ownership or start-up experience is an asset.
  • Creativity and marketing experience is an asset.
  • Experience in financing and leasing is an asset.
  • HVACR and plumbing industry knowledge is an asset.
  • Notion knowledge is an asset.
  • Canva and/or design knowledge are an asset.

Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
