SummaryThe Red Hat Sales Team is looking for an Automation Sales Specialist to join us and support the Canadian Region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the region’s Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform subscription sales offerings and services, to prospective and current accounts; these are both Strategic and Enterprise, across the country. You'll need to have the ability to understand customer needs and challenges and link them to how Ansible can help the client.

What you will do

• Work within the sales teams to plan the overall automation and multi-cloud strategy within a defined set of accounts.  This includes organizing top of funnel sales campaigns, accelerating to business close qualified opportunities, and driving adoption campaigns.  

• Gain the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships resulting in customers becoming public references

• Ability to lead a consultative sales cycle, based on solution selling, which includes the whole of Red Hat's portfolio rather than specific offerings.  Automation plays a key role in Red Hat’s entire portfolio.

• Build growth Go-to-Market strategies including partner and solution ecosystem

• Meet sales expectations and set high standards for the communication and presentation of key messages to C-level executives, both internally and externally

 

What you will bring

• 8+ years of experience in a solutions sales role focused on Strategic and Enterprise level accounts with a balance of strategic and tactical skills, as well as creative thinking skills

• Fully bilingual (French and English)

• 4+ years of experience focused on enterprise automation systems like Bladelogic, Chef or Puppet

• Broad technical experience with enterprise IT, focused on automating network and infrastructure services
